I am a Venezuelan-French self-shooting filmmaker and photographer working with the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol. For over six years I have worked on blue-chip landmark series, directing more than ten international shoots and spending over 40 weeks in the field on remote expeditions across the Americas, including some of its most extreme environments. My credits include the Andes and Caribbean episodes of The Americas (for NBC), a ten-part landmark series narrated by Tom Hanks. I am currently working on a confidential new project for National Geographic.

I am passionate about the natural world and about communicating science and conservation in ways that resonate with wide audiences. I come from an artistic family and have a diverse academic background, having studied Politics and social sciences at La Sorbonne-Paris 1, as well as Marine & Natural History Photography at Falmouth University, a degree that sits at the crossroads of photography, filmmaking and zoology.

I draw on my artistic, technical and naturalist background to merge art and science into authentic, visually compelling storytelling.
